Description

Speedy is a spoon designed to work on its own while “drifting”.

Developed and engineered on the basis of our competition anglers’ experience, it evolves the shape and swimming action of the well-known spoons in this series.

Its action is sinuous and natural: the narrow, curved body generates a frantic, high-frequency rotation, ideal for triggering apathetic and wary trout.

This movement is produced by the lure’s curvature and enhanced by a step on the underside.

It works both on the retrieve and on the drop.

During the retrieve, it maintains its swimming axis and depth, oscillating in just the right way to trigger a strike; on the drop, it becomes unpredictable, exploiting hydrodynamic principles to drift alternately to either side the same number of times at equal time intervals.

In addition, on such a lightweight spoon, the step shifts the centre of gravity towards the tail and helps increase casting distance.

A spoon that simply cannot be missing from your tackle box!
